A Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) estabelece as diretrizes para determinar quais pneus podem ser adequadamente designados como pneus para lama e neve. A marca real que você verá em seu pneu se ele atender aos padrões da RMA pode ser qualquer uma das seguintes: MS, M + S, M / S ou M&S.

Um pneu com esta designação tem a imagem de uma pequena montanha com um floco de neve dentro dela ao lado da designação MS.
